Euharlee Welcome Center & History Museum

The City of Euharlee operates the Euharlee History Museum in conjunction with the Euharlee Historical Society. Come by and enjoy a slice of our area’s history!

As of July 2015 the Museum relocated to expanded space in the new Euharlee Welcome Center at 33 Covered Bridge Road.

Museum Director, Katie Gobbi

Ms. Gobbi has been with the City of Euharlee since 2012. Prior to her employment with the city, she was the Manager of Collections and Volunteers at the Root House Museum & Garden in Marietta.

Ms. Gobbi has a Bachelor of Science degree from Kennesaw State University, a Certificate in Public History from Kennesaw State University, and a Masters of Heritage Preservation degree in Public History from Georgia State University.

  • Oversees collections management
  • Curates museum collection
  • Coordinates development and strategic planning
  • Prepares an annual budget for the museum
  • Coordinates public relations and marketing
  • Coordinates volunteers
  • Maintains a comprehensive interpretive plan for the museum and historic outreach on behalf of the city
