Frequently Asked Questions about Food Truck Friday
Is alcohol permitted at Food Truck Friday?
No. The Euharlee Police Department will be on patrol to enforce DUI
and speeding laws for everyone’s safety.
Can I bring a cooler with my own drinks?
No. There we be plenty of beverages to choose from provided by the food trucks.
Please support them, and leave your cooler at home.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes. You are welcome to bring your well-behaved pets as long as they are kept on
a leash. Pet owners must clean up after their animals.
What else should I bring?
Some picnic tables are located inside the pavilion, but it is suggested that you
bring a lawn chair so you can relax in comfort and enjoy the music after you
eat.
There is plenty of space for the kids to run around in, so hacky sacks, frisbees
and hula hoops are always appropriate!
Where can I park?
Some parking is available within Frankie Harris Park, accessible via the service
road entrance off of Five Forks Road. Additional parking can be found at the library
off Covered Bridge Road. It is a short walk from there
across the footbridge into Frankie Harris Park.
How many vendors can I expect to choose from?
The number of food trucks varies from month to month, but typical we try to get
commitments from a half dozen different vendors for each event. In the past
attendees have been able to choose from hotdogs and hamburgers, pizza, BBQ,
gourmet cupcakes, funnel cakes, shaved ice, etc.
Will entertainment be provided?
Yes!
A variety of local musicians have been booked by the City. Performances will be
on the stage in our covered pavilion, complete with picnic tables where you can
relax and enjoy your meal.
How much does it cost to get in?
Admission is absolutely FREE! Each Food Truck Vendor sets their own prices for
their menu, but all are quite reasonable.
Is there a rain date for the event?
No. The event will be cancelled only
in the event of life-threatening conditions, such as a tornado warning.
